Vassos Kyriacou
From an early age, I have been passionate about all forms of art, particularly painting and
photography. While much of my work over the years has been in oil, I also love to draw in
charcoal. With a camera in hand, I’ve sought to capture life as I’ve travelled the world -
many of these moments later becoming studies for my paintings.
I spent twenty years living in Cyprus, where I exhibited my work both privately and in
small galleries. I feel fortunate that my paintings now hang in homes across Cyprus, Italy,
the USA, and the UK.
Today, I am back in England, living in the beautiful village of Goring-on-Thames in
Oxfordshire. Surrounded by inspiring countryside and a warm community, I continue to
paint local landscapes alongside contemporary scenes from around the globe. More recently, I have also been exploring abstract cubism, a style that brings a fresh new dimension to my
work
